Carib Teak, an exotic wood supplier looking to expand into a new business focused specifically on building high-end teak shower floors.

The Challenge

We were tasked with designing another website for Carib Teak’s shower floor and custom furniture products geared toward interior designers and consumers. The client needed help keeping up with the volume of calls requesting time-consuming quotes. In addition, the client needed a website they could often update without any HTML knowledge. Furthermore, the website needed to rank organically on search engines.

Our Approach

We created a similar brand identity and a custom web design that elevated the perceived value of the products. A quote calculator allowed users to see pricing and move forward with a project instantly. A custom-built backend made content updates easy, and we consulted the client on how to write blog and social media content to help with SEO. Future integrations will include a fully automated lead nurturing email workflow.

The Results

Managing digital quotes proved much easier for the client. They saw a shift in calls from customers who were “tire kickers wanting a discount” to serious buyers with 5-figure budgets. Without any advertising, their website grew their side hustle to a major business with two warehouses and five full-time employees. Their products also caught the eye of interior designer Joanna Gaines and were used in an episode of HGTV’s Fixer Upper.
