A unique 18-hole mini golf course and restaurant in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
The Challenge
This client needed a new website, fast! Not only did the website need to be easily and frequently updated by employees, but there needed to be a Spanish and English version to serve both locals and tourists at their Puerto Rico location. The old website was only written in English, relying on Google Translate for the Spanish speaking audience to understand the content. It also had outdated information and was giving customers the wrong prices and menu items that were no longer available.
Our Approach
We took the standard WordPress page editor and built a better backend interface using Advanced Custom Fields. We then created a Spanish version of the website to let visitors choose their language preference and read content written for their dialect, not something that has been poorly translated by Google. The full-width web design is broken up into short sections to allow for scannable content so visitors can quickly find what they are searching for. Meta data has been optimized for search engines and the most searched for details are in the top sticky nav.
The Results
The client now has a website that can showcases only relevant and up-to-date content, translated in both English and Spanish. This custom theme allows employees to change menu items, prices, dates, hours of operation, and other content without any HTML knowledge. The result is a professional-looking website that helps users find exactly what they need.
