The Results

The client received a major design upgrade for their website, elevating the brand perception of the museum. Managing content was much easier for staff, as events no longer needed to be manually removed after passing. A calendar view that showcased everything allowed users to see a quick overview of what was going on each day, hovering over the event listing for more details. Clicking into the event showed all of the information with the ability to purchase tickets online, reserve a seat for classes, share to social media, or add the event to the user’s preferred calendar application. An option to add the event to the home page slideshow allowed their team to quickly select a box and have the event display at the top of the home page without additional work. Once events passed, they were automatically moved to the archive page, reducing redundant work for employees and keeping the website up to date.
