The Challenge
This fast-growing business needed a new brand identity and website to help scale for future growth. Their main challenge was that they spent too much time answering questions, working quotes, and had a hard time closing sales with smaller ticket items. The client wanted to focus on interior designers, builders, and high-end homeowners.
Our Approach
We created clean, sleek new logo with a soothing color palette that reflected their island roots. The website layout uses large photos to put the products front and center, with additional video background elements to help break up call to action text. To help answer commonly asked questions, a custom board foot calculator was developed that allowed users to quickly calculate the board square footage needed. As much information about the wood species, woodworking services, maintenance and care, and other FAQs, were all added to the website to help with SEO and also reduce the amount of questions on phone calls. We consulted the client on SEO best practices that they could perform themselves within the WordPress to help them rank organically without a major hit to their budget.
The Results
The new website and branding was a big hit! The client reported a significant increase in quality leads that were looking to purchase higher valued items, with customers telling them they loved the website and all of the information on it. They reduced the amount of time spent on the phone and grew the business significantly. The website now ranks on the first page of Google in the top 3 organic search results for many of their top search terms, on a national level, outranking major retailer websites. With no additional advertising money spent, the website is their sole source of revenue from organic search engine traffic. It was so popular, we were tasked with building an additional website focused on teak shower floor products.
